The world class auto makers like Audi, BMW and the Mercedes-Benz have already launched their sedans in the Indian market. Swedish auto maker Volvo has launched its midsized all rounder sedan, the S60 in India. It is a competitor for Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Audi A4 and the BMW 3-Series.
The sedan will be available in three variants and the starting price is Rs. 27 lakh and the most expensive one will cost Rs. 34 lakh. This sedan is available in both petrol and diesel versions and this will be available in the seven outlets in the country. The car has T6 AWD Petrol with 304 hp and 440 Nm and D5 Diesel with 205 hp and 420 Nm. It has features like World’s first Pedestrian Detection with full auto brake, Advanced Control with Torque Vectoring, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Laser Assisted Automatic Braking, Turn with steering lights. The car is more driver focused with a taut chassis and an advanced four wheel drive system.
